on vacation!

I will be out of town for the next week or so...

If the weather permits - I leave for Chicago tomorrow to attend the MASTER YOUR CRAFT WORKSHOP with Bob Davis and Mike Colon. I am super excited about this opportunity! These men are amazing photographers and run professional businesses that I hope mine will some day become.

Then I am off to Florida for a week with my boyfriend - so I will try hard to keep email contact but it may be limited. Sun and Daiquiris for me :)

Also in March - I am going to Vegas for the largest photography convention and tradeshow of the year. Among meeting tons of "A-List" photographers in Vegas, I am attending another workshop with celebrity photographer, Bob Davis.

I am pumped about everything I am going to learn. My technique & style will only improve from here :) So I will be taking small or large donations to fund all my workshops and continuing education. Im kidding... well, kinda ;)

Burrrrrrr

We did this engagement session on possibly the COLDEST day of the year. They were troopers and we only took 1 break to warm up in our cars. We laughed the whole time and Megan and Briean were a pure joy to photograph. I am so excited for their wedding this summer! Judging by their personalities.... it is going to be a blast!

a little baby ruth

I think everyone who knows me, knows that I am obsessed with the tv show FRIENDS. There is one episode where Rachel and Ross are deciding what to name their new baby. Ross loves the name Ruth but Rachel seems to think it is a name for an 80 year old. At the end of the episode they find out they are having a girl and Rachel ends up loving the name Ruth. They immediately veto the name after Rachel says, "we are going to have ourselves a litte BABY RUTH." I guess they don't like the candy bar :)

But I love the name Ruthie - afterall, it is my grandmothers name!
